Product Review: Volume Control Damper in Multiple Sizes

A reliable way to fine-tune airflow in duct systems

We’ve supplied a lot of volume control dampers over the years, and they remain one of the simplest yet most effective ways to balance airflow in ventilation systems. Volume Control Dampers Built for day-to-day use

These dampers are fitted with aerofoil-shaped blades, designed for use in low to medium air velocities. That means they can be used in most supply and extract duct systems without creating excessive noise or turbulence.
The blades are mounted inside a galvanised steel casing as standard, but we can also supply stainless steel versions for more demanding environments, such as food production or areas with higher moisture levels.

Things to keep in mind

• Not for high-velocity systems – These are designed for low to medium airflow speeds.
• Manual operation – If you need automatic control, you’ll need a motorised version.
• Access space – Make sure there’s enough clearance to reach the hand control when the damper is installed.
