Ellis joined Ducting Express in 2023 as part of the Sales team and also plays an important role in supporting logistics. His day-to-day work includes coordinating van deliveries and managing DPD and DX shipments, helping to keep orders moving on time and giving customers a reliable service.
Before joining Ducting Express, Ellis completed a range of Level 2 qualifications, including Mechanics, Automobile Paint Spraying and AAT. Alongside his studies, he worked in customer-facing roles in both restaurants and retail. Those jobs gave him strong communication skills, a calm approach with customers and the confidence to deal with questions and issues as they come up.
At Ducting Express, he brings that same mix of practical knowledge and people skills to his role, balancing the detail of logistics with the day-to-day needs of customers and colleagues.
Outside of work, Ellis has a keen interest in travel and has already visited places like Italy, Greece and Tenerife, as well as exploring plenty of locations across the UK. He enjoys going to music festivals and winding down with gaming across his collection of consoles. More recently, he has started going to the gym with a focus on improving his overall health and fitness. Ellis is also the proud owner of a Husky called Iris and likes taking her out for walks in the park and playing with her after work. At weekends, he often catches up with friends, going out for food and drinks.
Looking ahead, Ellis is keen to keep developing in his role by expanding his technical knowledge and offering even more support to customers. He is particularly interested in helping with customer drawings and more complex technical enquiries, further strengthening the service Ducting Express can offer.
