Rui is a Warehouse Operative at Ducting Express and a key part of the warehouse team that keeps day-to-day operations ticking over smoothly.
He began his warehouse career at Co-op in 2005, gaining hands-on experience across all areas of warehouse operations, from loading lorries to order picking and despatch. His dedication and work ethic were recognised in 2007, when he was promoted to Team Leader, and he later progressed into a Supervisor role, managing teams and taking on more responsibility.
After 20 years of service, Rui was made redundant when the Co-op warehouse closed. He has since joined Ducting Express, bringing with him a wealth of practical knowledge and leadership experience. Today, Rui supports daily operations by managing product locations, replenishing stock and completing the Inspire Van each day, helping to keep orders organised and the warehouse running efficiently.
Away from work, Rui enjoys unwinding through gaming and has a strong interest in cars, often attending car shows to see the latest designs and trends. He also enjoys card games for the mix of strategy and social time they offer, seeing them as a great way to relax and spend time with others.
