The 125mm to 100mm duct reducer is a highly reliable, durable, and popular product. It’s designed to reduce or increase the diameter of your ducting between 125mm & 100mm.
These reducers are made using lightweight galvanised steel. This ensures durability as well as resistance to the environment.
Our concentric reducers are simple to install and don't need a lot of equipment or professional knowledge.
The ducting reducer 125mm to 100mm is the perfect choice for vertically or horizontally installed pipework. It’s a male fitting that can be fitted inside a spiral tube in an instant, without any stress or lengthy procedures. The product comes with two male spigots at the ends and is a pressed reducer. As a concentric reducer, it has a cone shape. The centre line is exactly in the middle of the two diameters. Don’t let the name confuse you as reducers can also be used as enlargers.
We’re here to help you make the right choice and guide you through the installation process.
Fitting a reducer to spiral ducting couldn’t be any easier. All you need is your concentric reducer, drill, tek screws and silicone.
Get some silicone and insert a bead of silicone inside the spiral. Next, the reducer must be fitted inside the spiral. Insert four to 6 tek screws evenly spaced around the ducting, ensuring that you go through the duct & the collar of the reducer. Next, insert another bead of silicone around the outside of the joints

A concentric reducer is a galvanised adapter aimed to change the diameters within a ducting system. Thye can be used to increase or reduce diameters.
This can vary depending on the diameter. If a specific height is required due to limited space, please contact the team so we can get a bespoke product made.
All metal concentric reducers listed on our shop are made out of galvanised steel. However, we are able to provide this in stainless steel. The most common grades of stainless steel are 304 and 316 grade, and these are made to order. Please contact the team to discuss your requirements further.
Yes, depending on how your system has been designed and installed a concentric reducer can affect your airflow and noise levels. Reducing can also create back pressure for your fan.
You would require a female connection piece to connect to another fitting. For fastening without the need for any pre-drilled holes, we advise our customers to use self-drill screws. Once you have decided on a method of fastening the duct work together, you'll need a sealant. We would advise using duct sealant, which is a water-based sealant and will provide a permanent seal whilst withstanding a reasonable amount of vibration. You could also use cloth tape or foil duct tape. Please see our ''How To'' video - How to connect spiral ducting.
