The wall thickness of the 301 AS is 0.4mm approx.
The maximum length we keep as stock is 6 meters, however we are able to supply this in various lengths but this would be made to order with a longer lead time. Please contact us with your requirements and we will be able to assist further.
The 301 AS is highly flexible and compressible 3:1.
The wall is a permanently antistatic premium esterpolyurethane (Pre-PUR®) and a spring steel wire integrated in the wall.
The temperature range of the 301 AS is -40°C to 90°C with a short time of 125°C.
The 301 AS is flame-retardant according to: UL94-HB and flame-retardant according to: DIN 4102-B1.
The 301 AS is abrasion-resistant, microbe resistant and has a good resistance to oil, gasoline and chemicals.
The 301 AS has a permanently antistatic wall: in accordance with ISO 8031 electrical and surface resistance <10⁹ Ω.
The 301 AS is predominantly used within wood dust extraction systems. However, the other applications for the 301 AS are as follows:
• flexible hose/ducting for gases and for abrasive dust, powder, fibres
• extraction unit, dedusting system, filter system, oil mist extraction
• extraction arm
• chemical industry: chemical vapours, vapour return hose at loading arm, paint steam, spray mist extraction
• explosion hazard area
• textile industry, fiber extraction: spinning machine, knitting machine, weaving loom machine
• animal stall, animal shed: barn ventilation
• clean room ventilation, semiconductor production machine
• bus, utility vehicle, caravan/trailer, mobile home/camper/RV, boat, ship/vessel/marine, yacht: ventilation, heating
• bellows, compensators
Firstly, to connect flexible ducting to spiral you would require a male connection piece. You would then use a jubilee clip to secure the flexible ducting to the male connector.
To connect this ducting to express duct you would need a flex adapter. You would then use a jubilee clip to secure the flexible ducting to the express duct flex adapter.
