Flexible polyurethane flexible ducting reinforced by a sustainable steel spiral helix
This food grade flexible hose/ ducting is particularly suited to food and pharmaceutical industry applications. It can also be used in industrial non-food extraction involving abrasive dusts, powders and fibres.

The wall thickness of the 330 Food is 0.6mm approx.
The maximum length we keep as stock is 10 meters, however we are able to supply this in various lengths but this would be made to order with a longer lead time. Please contact us with your requirements and we will be able to assist further.
The 330 Food is highly flexible and compressible 3:1.
The wall is a special premium ether-polyurethane (PrePUR®) and a spring steel wire integrated in the wall.
The temperature range of the 330 Food is -40°C to 90°C with a short time of 125°C.
Unfortunately the 330 Food is not flame-retardant. If flame-retardant ducting is required, please see our 301 AS and 330 AS range. Please note, the 301 AS and 330 AS are not food grade.
This has been approved by an independent testing laboratory for the complete hose acc. to EU-Directive 10/2011 and EC 1935/2004 and the latest EUDirective 2015/174, food grade polyurethane, complies with: FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 and 178.2010. Also, approval acc. to EU-Directive 10/2011 (food simulants A, B, C or E and D2) and EC 1935/2004. It is also odourless and tasteless.
The 330 Food is abrasion-resistant, microbe resistant and hydrolysis resistant and has a good resistance to oil, gasoline and chemicals.

The applications for the 330 Food are as follows:

Firstly, to connect flexible ducting to spiral you would require a male connection piece. You would then use a jubilee clip to secure the flexible ducting to the male connector.
To connect this ducting to express duct you would need a flex adapter. You would then use a jubilee clip to secure the flexible ducting to the express duct flex adapter.
