Stainless steel air valves are used to supply or extract air in ventilation and HVAC systems. They are commonly installed in ceilings to provide a neat, durable finish while allowing airflow to be adjusted to suit the ventilation requirements of a room. They are suitable for domestic, commercial and industrial applications.
Yes. The airflow is easily adjusted by rotating the central control disc, allowing you to increase or reduce the volume of air passing through the valve. This makes stainless steel air valves ideal for balancing ventilation systems and achieving the desired airflow into or out of individual rooms.
Yes. These air valves are suitable for both supply and extract.
The air valves are manufactured from high-quality 304 stainless steel, offering excellent corrosion resistance, durability and a modern appearance. They are designed to provide long-lasting performance in a wide range of indoor environments.
Yes. Each stainless steel air valve is supplied with a mounting ring, making installation into compatible round ductwork quick and straightforward. Simply select the valve size that matches the diameter of your ducting for a secure fit.
To install a stainless steel air valve, you must first insure you have selected the correct size. Choose the size that matches the inside diameter of your ductwork. For example a 150mm valve is designed to be installed inside 150mm ducting. First secure the supplied mounting ring into the end of your round duct or ceiling opening. Once the mounting ring is in place, simply insert and screw the air valve into the ring until it is securely fitted. The centre disc can then be adjusted by rotating it to achieve the required airflow.
For the best performance, ensure the air valve matches the diameter of your ducting and is installed as part of a correctly balanced ventilation system.
The correct size air valve should match the diameter of your round ducting. Before ordering, measure the internal diameter of your duct or check your system specifications to ensure you select the right size. For instance - 150mm air valves are designed to be installed into 150mm ducting.
If you're replacing an existing air valve, it's usually best to choose the same diameter as your current unit for a straightforward installation. If you're unsure which size is suitable for your ventilation system, our team will be happy to help you point you in the right direction.
