What is a Circular Sound Attenuator?

Circular Sound Attenuators (silencers) are used within ventilation systems to reduce noise transmission. They are predominantly used near noise sources like fans and air handling units to reduce the noise levels within this space.

What material are the Circular Sound Attenuators made from?

They have a galvanized steel case, which is filled with non-flammable sound-absorbing material with a protective cover against fiber blowing. The flanges on either end of the attenuators are lined with a rubber seal.

What would be the noise level reduction with using a circular sound attenuator?

Would this product fit directly into spiral ducting?

Yes it would, as a circular sound attenuator is male ended it will connect directly into spiral (female ended).
