Single blade damper are generally use in low to medium air flow systems generally 1 to 6 m/s to control (balance) the amount of airflow to each air inlet or outlet, enabling you to achieve an even airflow throughout the whole system.
Single blade dampers are also known as balance dampers and are not designed to be airtight when closed. They are used to balance airflow within a ducting system.
Single blade dampers are not suitable for wood waste and dust extraction systems. They are designed for low airflow fresh air systems.
